I developed my love for nature and the great outdoors early on as a child, living on a farm in a region known as the Free State in central South Africa.
Some of my interests include History (South Africa), scuba diving, fishing, hiking, camping and off road adventures.
As an adult, I relocated to Cape Town at the southern tip of Africa.
I have travelled South Africa extensively & therefore have great knowledge of every region of the country. I am always in awe of the natural beauty of my country and love sharing this with others.
My travel experiences have also taken me abroad to Europe, America, Mauritius, Thailand, Maldives and Dubai.
When I retired, I opened up a couple of AirBnB’s to keep me busy.
It was through helping my AirBnB guests with information & guiding them that I was inspired to qualify as a Professional Tour Guide.
